Founders of the company, Ron & Eleice Smith, have been manufacturing electronic products for over forty years. After owning three companies in Sydney, Australia, where they produced high quality electronic security products for many years, they then sold out to a multi-national company and went farming. In these years they gained valuable knowledge in the rural industry. Later they teamed up with their son Dave Smith, who had ten years experience in the agricultural supply industry, and started Country Electronics in 1983. |
